I own this wash and the Barcelona, which is very similar. I love both of them. I had a hard time choosing which one I liked better, so I bought both. The Dakota is great for everyday, running errands, etc... While I prefer to wear the Barcelona for going out, and when I need to look really chic. The dark wash really slims you down, so they are perfect to wear when your feeling a little puffy. Also, they are not so thick that when you hem them they dont loose there nice shape at the bottom. I have a larger butt and with the lower waisted jeans, my undies stick out and if im feeling bloated, i get the muffin top. But with these, I can eat all I want and I still look great! They are very sliming on, and they make your butt look really nice. Im glad I decided to go with the higher waist.
